My Story

Andrea brings a dynamic background to her healing practice. She grew up in Minnesota; her mother is originally from Mexico City and her father born and raised in MN. From the very begining, there was a mixture of cultures and exposure to different healing modalities. In 2001 it was a natural decision for Andrea to embark on a demanding 4 year Masters degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Chinese Herbology at the AAAOM in Roseville, MN. Despite the demanding work, she easily grasped the foundations of the TCM, and quickly discovered it’s great potential as a healing modality. Andrea has been a licensed acupuncturist for over 17 years in the state of Minnesota. In addition, she has continued to augment her educational foundation throughout the years with various certificates. She’s a bit of a “TCM Nerd”:)

Andrea currently lives in Greenfield MN where she can be found homeschooling her 4 beautiful boys (Asher 15, Leo 12, Ellis 9, and Henry 6) with her loving and supportive husband. In her spare time, she enjoys making anything from scratch, DIY-ing, making essential oils blends, making elderberry syrup, and tinctures.   All the while tending to her garden, fruit orchard and flock of chickens!

Andrea is a cesarean mom to her first two sons and VBAC2C (Natural Birth after 2 cesareans) to her two youngest boys. To add to her repertoire of birthing experiences, Andrea had the honor to bring her fourth son into this world in their very own home. It was a beautiful and healing experience for the whole family.

Andrea’s experience as an Acupuncturist and journey as a mother, has given her a deep respect for life, a compassionate heart, and a strong intuitive connection. Which allows her, to be present and grounded, for each individual she supports/guides towards a more balanced and optimal state of well-being.
